Biography
• 20 years of professional working experience in the financial and technology sector. Main areas of focus have been: Project Management, Digital Banking, Business Analysis, ERP implementation & Client Management.
• Developing and deploying “RAAST” (the Micro Payment Gateway (MPG)) project (at the State Bank of Pakistan).
• The Head of I.T. & e-banking at NBP Aitemaad. This position was also responsible for Data Analytics and new products development for digital banking.
• Head of National Payments Infrastructure, at Karandaaz.
• “Consulting Practice Manager” at SunGard for ERP implementation at multiple banks globally (including Pakistan).
• PMO Head at NBP for the implementation of a few large-scale projects (including the financial ERP / Core Banking Application, Country-wide network connectivity, Business Analysis for gap identification in the available infrastructure, etc.).
• Manager for ADCs / Remote Banking & Branchless Banking Projects that include Mobile banking, Internet banking, ATMs, IBFT (Inter Bank Funds Transfer), UBPS (Utility Bills Payment System), SMS Alerts and Call Center integration with multiple financial solutions.
• Managed organizational environment change & BPR (Development & implementation) for the Technology area.
• A consultant for the RTA Dubai via “ExpertON”, in the area of Business Processes Re-Engineering and Project Management.
• Managed the development and implementation of an ERP at HEC for its stage-wise automation.
• Successfully completed a number of International and Local projects including Government Sector automations, and countrywide implementations.
• Received “Best technology Implementation award (2007)” by “PGEL” for a Core Banking implementation.
